The Sealyham Terrier is not a well known breed today.  Developed in Wales in the 1800's to help hunt badgers, otters, and fox; these small terriers are smart, excellent companions. 

The Sealyham was well known in the 1920's through the 1940's with royalty and in old Hollywood; with owners like King George V, Princess Margaret, Cary Grant, Alfred Hitchcock, Elizabeth Taylor and Gary Cooper.  The Sealyham is best known for it's playful attitude and antics.  To learn even more about the Sealyham Terrier, we recommend you visit the AMERICAN SEALYHAM TERRIER CLUB's website:

Our Goals

Our goal is to keep the Sealyham Terrier breed alive and well for the future.  Though this is a sturdy breed of dog, it is rare.  We will do our best to keep all our Sealyhams in the very best condition, whether here at home or in the show ring.  It is our goal to share this breed with a larger audience.  We will do that through education, exhibiting, breeding and volunteering with our dogs.

We currently have 3 AKC champions at home with us---some photos are below.  

All Sealyhams are tested for Primary Lens Luxation, a genetic eye condition that is carried by certain breeds of dogs, especially some terrier breeds. All of our breeding program is Clear for PLL.  We also test for IVDD.
