Who We Are

A family from rural Missouri.  We have a small farm.  We raise all-natural beef cattle.  We enjoy the country life style.

Lisa Wright has had a interest in animals since childhood, especially purebred dogs.  She read all the animal books in her town's tiny library.  As she looked through the AKC Complete Dog Book, she saw a photo of a Sealyham.  It was love at first sight.

We obtained our first Sealyham in 1988.  Abby was a Goodspice-Suncoast pup out of the wonderful Am & UK CH Torset Touch of Class.  It was wonderful for Margery Good and Betty Terry to give us a chance with our very own Sealy!!  In 2009 we started to miss having a Sealy.  Through conversations with most everyone in North America that had Sealys; we got in touch with France Bergeron and obtained Libby in 2009. In September 2010, a wonderful pup, Sadie came to live with us.  This puppy was from Barb & Irwin Shapiro.  She has given us more laughs than all our other Sealys combined.  As a novice exhibitor I had success in the show ring in 2011 and 2012.  I was able to show both my Sealyhams to their AKC championships at shows in MO & KS, with help from Cheri Argueta and Sarah Murphy. 

We continue to exhibit our terriers and work closely with breed mentors to strengthen the health and breed type of our bloodlenes. 

Sadie (Ch Tenby Too Cute for Words) has produced 5 champions to date, and 3 champion grandchildren.

Look for us at shows in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Illinois.  We also volunteer at MEET the BREEDS events. We would be happy to introduce you to our terriers!!
